(1) You hear the words secondary combustion and re-burn used quite a bit in rocket stove talk but it just occurred to me that perhaps that’s not a very accurate description of what’s going on. Most burning happens in the burn tube and lower heat riser. Does unburned wood gas or smoke “re-burn” at the top of the hear riser where it meets the barrel or just gradually “burn up” as it rises vertically from the burn tube?


(2) What is the best procedure and location to thermo-siphon off of a rocket stove? (Understanding that complete combustion of gases must not be sacrificed.)

(3) All else created equal, do colder temperatures outside increase draft?
